Atlas Event Rental has been the leading luxury event rental company in South Florida for nearly 40 years. With locations in Boynton Beach, Miami, and Stuart, we seek an aggressive outside salesperson with a proven track record to go after new business and build client relationships to join our growing team!

 

What You Will Be Doing 

In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for building client relationships and servicing customers in a polite, helpful, friendly, and professional manner, whether in person, on the phone, or in written communication. Clients will need assistance with product selection, quotes, orders,  and order adjustments.  

 

Tasks Include:

 

  • Cultivating new business and building client relationships 
  • Utilizing rental software and updating CRM daily
  • Complete event contracts from beginning to end which includes receiving payments and necessary information for the logistical team.
  • Regular follow-up on all leads and quotes
  • Compute charges based on rental or service rate.
  • Explain rental fees and provide information about rented items, such as operation or description. 
  • Be available outside standard hours for event emergencies and last-minute requests
  • Keep up with industry trends
  • Ability to design tabletops and assist clients with selecting the items needed to match their event vision
  • Network with other industry professionals on a regular basis
  • Work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Attend job setups
  • Update and call the overdue list daily and alert the supervisor of overdue contracts.
  • Make cold calls to generate new leads
  • Maintain and update sales spreadsheet and submit to the Director of Sales on a weekly basis.
  • Meet individual sales goals as set by the department
  • Fill in for other positions, when necessary, for the smooth operation of the business.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form
  • Attend department, staff, and safety meetings.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

  • Multitask and Organizational Skills
  • Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to learn and adapt to new software. Training on rental software will be provided
  • Strong English language skills. The ability to speak other languages is a plus
  • Event industry experience is not required but is a plus
