Atlas Event Rental

Position: Delivery Driver

Our delivery teams do more than just bring product from one location to another. At Atlas, we say that our delivery team is the last sales person our clients see. With that, we are always looking for drivers who are customer-service driven.

What can a typical day look like as a member of our delivery team?

  • As a member of our delivery team you will have a number of deliveries and pick-ups throughout your day.
  • One delivery could be to a venue for a wedding where you are delivering tables and chairs. Keep in mind, a lot of the time we set tables and chairs up for our clients, so get ready to put a little muscle in on deliveries like this.
  • Your next stop might be to a client’s home where you need to pick up all of the dishes and glasses that they rented from us for their friends’ birthday party. We hope your counting game is on for pick-ups like these, your job is going to include counting all the milkcrates and glass racks used on this job.
  • Be ready to end your day setting up a dance floor and sub-floor outside. Our clients love throwing parties in the great outdoors and they need us to make sure the dance floor is ready for all those dancing feet!
  • To be a member of our delivery team, you have to love communicating.
  • Our delivery team calls all of our clients when they are on their way to the event site.
  • Our team members also communicate with clients throughout the job and are regularly reporting back to our dispatch department with any issues that come up while on the road.
  • Do you like problem-solving? As a driver or assistant driver on the Atlas team, you will encounter different issues throughout the day.
  • Maybe one stop has you figuring out where to park on a busy Miami Street.
  • Perhaps the next stop has a broken elevator forcing you to think outside of the box in order to deliver the items to the second floor with ease.
  • What do you do if the caterer decides to move the location of the event from one room to another and this change might make you late for your next stop? Problem-solving is one of the greatest qualities we are looking for to be a member of our delivery team.

A career as a driver or driver assistant at Atlas is an exciting and dynamic one. The person that is right for this role will love being on the go and enjoy working with different people each day.
